  14.         Finally, an Amiga RIPTERM! Well, maybe it's not the first but
  15. it is the only one with a phonebook and allows file transfers (to be
  16. fair, Amigarip was never meant to be released in the state it was, but
  17. due to "other" things, Francisco Moraes never really did anything more with
  18. the program since January 1994). I started RIPcomm because I wanted a
  19. terminal available for Amiga users (and myself), I was a beta tester
  20. for Francisco but the program's inability to do file transfers was the
  21. reason I didn't use the program much... I wanted a ripterm I could use
  22. everyday!

  24. RIPCOMM BETA 0.14 - 13 Jul 1994
  25. - I was able to reduce the programs chipmem usage of 100k, by reworking the
  26.   circle drawing routines (which needed a large Tempras before)... this
  27.   should make life easier for users with only 512k chip ram. :-)
  28. - Added support for thick lines.
  29. - The download directory in the RIP prefs requester is enabled, you can now
  30.   download to anywhere you want.

  32. Also, please keep sending your bug reports and suggestions. I may not
  33. acknowledge them or follow them up in any way, but they ARE saved and I do
  34. check them from time to time. I do appreciate them even though it might not
  35. seem that way. :-)
